Isaak Ouwater was an 18th century Dutch painter and a follower of Jan van der Heyden. Ouwater was a painter of street scenes and other urban landscapes, and though his critics may call his work somewhat dry in comparison to van der Heyden’s, it was painstakingly executed nonetheless.
