Jean-Laurent Mosnier was an 18th century French painter. He was known particularly for his portraits of French nobles, including Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI. He painted many portraits while he was the court painter at Versailles, and also traveled to Russia where he painted from 1795 until his death in 1808.
