Pierre Nicholas LeGrand Lérant was an 18th century French painter who was born and died in Paris . He was a highly political painter during the French Revolution, whose politics mirrored those of David and others on the Left. He exhibited in the Salon of 1796, and mostly created group portraits and history paintings.
