Felice Giani was an 18th century Italian Neoclassical painter. Giani received his first studies in Bologna from 1780-1783 at the Accademia di San Luca, and studied under Pompeo Batoni. Giani was initially influenced by Ancient Roman and Greek art, as well as old masters Raphael and Michelangelo, among others.
